ABOUT ME

Welcome to CM Videos. I will answer some questions that I have been asked before that way you can get a better sense of who I am.

Where are you currently studying?

I am a student at California State University Northridge in Los Angeles studying as a Cinema and Television Arts major. Some projects I have worked on are Behind Closed Doors as a Director and My Friend Love as a Director of Photography. Now I am working on two shorts, Breadwinner and How to win a girl in 12 minutes.

When did I start learning how to do video editing and cinematography?

I have to give a big thanks to the Center for Advanced Research and Technology. I started going there in my junior year of high school for my business class, and in my senior year of high school, I went there for a class called Multimedia - Digital Video Production.

I directed some films, such as my short film, Crimson's Fear, and the documentary Peer Counseling: Combating Youth Mental Illness. I am very proud of the documentary since I got selected for the Youth Diversity Film Festival and was honored to speak on the panel regarding advocacy in films. That experience fully solidified my dream of making films that I want to see.

What applications and do I use to edit?

I use Adobe Creative Applications such as: Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition to edit footage together.

What camera and light equipment can I use?

I know how to use the Canon EOS R10, CX350 4K Camcorder, and Black Magic. I enjoy having a zoom lens and wide lens for video shoots. As far as lights, I have used the Aputure 300, GVM 800D RGB LED Light Panel, and ARRI 150 W. Along with the lighting equipment, I use C-Stands and diffusers to achieve a softer look.

What is your Instagram handle?

My personal is @its_criztina. I post my adventures and travels. My photography account is @cristinatakesphotos.
